This tiny snippet of a drawing with lots of charm is likely by Fra Bartolommeo. The morphology of the artist's putti, especially in the chubby folds of plump skin around the ankles, is the same. The pen lines describing the contour of the child are technically comparable. A drawing in the Lehman Collection in the Metropolitan Museum of the Virgin with the Holy Children (4 in number), is a perfect illustration of these similarities.1
